Fashion icon-turned film director Tom Ford has been less than forthcoming with details about the followup to his highly acclaimed debut feature “A Single Man,” but Vogue managed to wrest a few tidbits from the tight-lipped talent.
Until now, all we knew about the project was that it would be “very different” and that he was developing it “from scratch.” But Ford opened up (a tiny bit) and explained just what he meant by “very different.”
“[‘A Single Man’] was my homo-angst movie. Now I’m shooting another. I’m writing the script — a comedy. I’m in the mood to have fun and smile.”
If “A Single Man,” was any indication, it’s probably safe to assume the laughs will be bolstered by impeccable set design and gorgeous cinematography.
