Relativity Media has picked up the rights to Michael Drosnin’s book of supernatural prophecy, “The Bible Code.”
In the book, which spawned sequels, Drosnin writes about an elaborate code that can allegedly be found in the Hebrew Bible which, when decoded, predicts hundreds of future events including the election of Barack Obama, the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and more.
Drosnin, who is a former reporter for the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal, claims that the code is real and accurate and suggests that the Code was written by extraterrestrial life (which he claims also brought the DNA of the human genetic code to Earth).
Relativity is developing an adaptation of all the books for a tentpole release in 2012.
