Ron Perlman has signed on to star opposite Ryan Gosling in Nicolas Winding Refn’s (“Bronson”) action drama “Drive,” according to ScreenDaily.

Perlman is the latest addition to an already stellar cast featuring Gosling as a loner Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver for robberies and finds himself in trouble when he helps the ex-con boyfriend of his beautiful neighbour.

Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”), Christina Hendricks (“Mad Men”), Carey Mulligan (“An Education”) and Albert Brooks fill out the cast.

The script, by Hossein Amini, is an adaptation of the James Sallis crime novel of the same name.
