Billed as a “unique feature documentary event,” The People VS. George Lucas is a new film slated to be released in 2010.

George Lucas is indisputably one of cinema’s most polarizing figures and this documentary apparently aims to demystify the man–the empire, all while giving jaded fanboys an outlet to decry the man who some have even called a “false prophet.”  Check out the trailer:
