Natalie Portman will add another project to her already full plate with Fox’s high school comedy, “Booksmart.”
Variety reports that Portman will produce that juvenile comedy concerning “two overachieving high school seniors who realize the only thing they haven’t accomplished is having boyfriends, and each resolves to find one by prom.”
Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern have been hired to ink the script.
Annette Savitch, Portman’s partner will also produce through their Handsomecharlie Films banner.
“Booksmart” joins Portman’s growing list of projects including “Love and Other Impossible Pursuits,” “Thor,” and “Hesher,” all of which she’ll be starring in.
