“Resident Evil” star Milla Jovovich has signed on to start in the Mimran Schur Pictures thriller, “Stone” which will also star Robert De Niro and Edward Norton, reports Screen Daily.
The publication goes on to report, “Jovovich will play the wife of a convicted arsonist (Norton) who is deployed in a psychological game of cat-and-mouse with his parole officer, played by De Niro.
John Curran, who previously directed Norton in The Painted Veil, is directing from Angus Maclachlan’s script. Jovovich will next be seen in The Perfect Getaway and The Fourth Kind.
This marks the first feature from Mimran Schur Pictures, formed earlier this year by private investor David Mimran and longtime music business executive and former Geffen Records president Jordan Schur.
Holly Wiersma, Schur and Mimran are producing, with Nu Image/Millennium’s Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short, Avi Lerner and Rene Besson serving as executive producers.”[…]
