Step aside, Tina Fey, there’s a new folksy Palin impersonator stepping into the spotlight.
Four-time Oscar nominee Julianne Moore will play the ultra-conservative momma grizzly in HBO’s upcoming adaptation of the best-selling book, “Game Change,” by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. The book spilled juicy gossip from insiders of both the Obama and Mccain campaigns during the 2008 presidential race.
“Game Change” will be directed by Jay Roach, famous for helming the “Austin Powers” films.
Roach will team with Danny Strong, who he previously paired with for HBO’s “Recount,” the Emmy winning film that focused on the 2000 Florida presidential election recount.
