National Resources Defense Council 20th Anniversary CelebrationJon Hamm (“Mad Men”) and Rebecca Hall (“Please Give”) have been named as the latest additions to Ben Affleck’s “The Town,” a Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ romantic crime thriller, reports THR.

Affleck is starring in and directing the Graham King produced pic.

“Town” is an adaptation of the Chuck Hogan novel “Prince of Thieves,” which centers on the relationship between a bank manager, the career criminal (Affleck) who robs her, and the dedicated FBI agent trying to track down the crook.

Hamm will suit up as the FBI agent, and Hall is the catalyst for the criminal’s change of heart.

Affleck, Hogan and Peter Craig all had roles in developing the script.

“Town” will begin production this September in Boston after Hamm wraps shooting on AMC’s  “Mad Men.”
