Up and coming filmmaker Derek Cianfrance’s edgy “Blue Valentine” was a hit at Sundance. Though its unclear how it will fair at the box office having been dealt the death blow NC-17 rating, which The Weinstein Co. is sure to appeal. Written by Cianfrance, Joey Curtis and Cami Delavigne, the film stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams and will get a limited release December 31st.
