Toronto Int. Film Fest Releases Early Lineup

The Toronto International Film Festival has released an early lineup for this years event from September 10th-19th.

Jon Amiel’s Charles Darwin-biopic “Creation” starring Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly will open the fest.

Also screening are Steven Soderbergh’s “The Informant,” Ricky Gervais’ “The Invention of Lying”, Bruce Beresford’s “Mao’s Last Dancer,” Scott Hicks’ “The Boys Are Back”, Jane Campion’s “Bright Star”, Neil Jordan’s “Ondine”, Johnnie To’s “Vengeance”, the already acclaimed “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire”, Bong Joon-ho’s “Mother”, Brian Koppelman and David Levien’s “Solitary Man”, Lu Chuan’s “City of Life and Death”, Niki Caro’s “The Vintner’s Luck”, Warwick Thornton’s “Samson and Delilah”, Nicolas Winding Refn’s “Valhalla Rising” and Tim Blake Nelson’s “Leaves of Grass,” among others.
