This just in: Bloody-Disgusting reports that Dimension films is going ahead with a remake of “An American Werewolf In London.” And you thought that “Teen Wolf” was the only wolf getting ruined.
The following is the unaltered report from BD:
“After teasing the possibilities to Bloody-Disgusting last June, news comes in exclusively to B-D from a regular tipster that writer/director John Landis has sold the remake rights for An American Werewolf In London to Dimension Films. As Halloween II makes its way into theaters, the Weinstein brothers are hard at work at getting the Hellraiser remake off the ground and now will be retelling the story of two American tourists in England who are attacked by a werewolf that none of the locals will admit exists. I wonder how they’ll ruin this? Any guesses? Two hot American tourists with big boobs in England….”

Hi! Eric,
“I wonder how they’ll ruin this? Any guesses? Two hot American tourists with big boobs in England….”
LOL!!!! that is too funny!!!!..
It seems the more movie goers complain about remakes the faster Hollywood “churns” them out!…No room for “originality” in Hollywood…methinks?!?

I think you're right DeeDee. Maybe Hollywood likes all the attention. You know what they say, Any press is good press. The only way they'll ever stop remaking things is if we all stop seeing them and talking about them. But that'll probably never happen so we'd better get used to seeing all our childhood memories destroyed.
PS. the latest podcast is up!
This is just plain sad.
That's really all I can come up with to say about it… Sad…
It truly is. Is it really worth the few extra bucks they might make from the name recognition, which is dubious at best?
Hi! Eric and Scott,
Wow!…What a really interesting take on John Travolta, his career and most definitely, the film
the Taking of Pelham 123….and after listening to your review of Travolta, Washington and Scott vehicle I plan to watch this film whenever it comes on cable.
Thanks, for the honest review of the film, mentioning my blog and most definitely, for an interesting discussion between you and Scott.
DeeDee ;-D
