Legendary funnyman, Chevy Chase, will be making his return to the big screen in a hot tub.
Chase will star in UA’s time-travel comedy “Hot Tub Time Machine,” along with John Cusack and Rob Corddry, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film follows a group of unsatisfied guys who travel back to their younger days in 1987 via their Jacuzzi. Steve Pink will direct the Josh Heald script.
Chase will play a mysterious fix-it man who dispenses tidbits of wisdom and may or may not be the man behind the metaphysical road trip. Shooting is underway in Vancouver and the film is scheduled for a February release.
Chase also recently starred in an episode of NBC’s “Chuck,” as well as the Polish brothers’ Tribeca film “Stay Cool.” The aging “Saturday Night Live” alum has also landed a starring role on NBC’s new series “Community,” where he plays a community college student with more divorces than classes.
He also is in talks to reprise his role as bumbling private investigator Fletch Fletcher in “Fletch.”

Wow, I had forgotten that Fletch was a private investigator. lol
Yeah, a terrible private investigator but a brilliant comedian! “Fletch” is one of my favorites.
