The Moving Arts Staff

Eric M. Armstrong – Editor in Chief, Film Critic, Feature Writer
Like many critics, Eric is an aspiring, but so far failed, screenwriter who chose the next best thing; ripping apart the films of his successful peers. Eric also believes in, and supports the unique experiences and opportunities offered by local, independent film festivals.  He is a vocal supporter of his hometown’s Tallgrass Film Festival and encourages movie-lovers around the country to take part in the preservation of America’s local film culture.  Eric is also a contributor to the Cinema Poaching blog.

Greg Kita – Columnist, Feature Writer, Film Critic
Greg has always had an interest in both film and writing.  During High School he met regularly with a group of friends to watch, critique, and make movies.  It was during this period that he developed his unique appreciation for low-budget film as an art form unto itself.  Greg is also a published poet and short story writer.  In college he wrote a weekly current events column for the UVU Review.

Brian Gray – Film Critic, Feature Writer
Brian’s life-long love of film is rivaled only by his love of writing.  It hasn’t been until recently that he’s attempted to make them work together.  After graduating from Wichita State University in 2008, he moved to New York City to attend screenwriting classes at the New York Film Academy.  Brian soon landed an internship at the prestigious Edward R. Pressman Film Company where he read and reviewed hundreds of scripts.  And like everyone else in the world Brian has a finished screenplay, but is struggling to get it off the ground.

Scott Armstrong – Film Critic, Feature Writer
Scott is a published short story writer, an uncredited screenwriter, and burgeoning novelist.
